Job summary

Elwyn is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide one-to-one support for preschool children with developmental needs. The PCA will implement behavior strategies, support communication, and assist with daily living activities in school settings, reporting to the Behavior Support Consultant.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, be able to travel between sites, and complete PA clearances and annual trainings. Join a mission-driven team making a difference.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required for all applicants.
• Experience supporting young children with behavioral needs is preferred.
• Must obtain PA clearances (Act 34, 114, 151) and complete annual training.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to children in school-based settings.
• Implement behavior support plans and PBIS/classroom routines.
• Collect and report data on behavior and progress.
• Support FCT and AAC use as directed by the BSC/SLP.
• Maintain confidential student records and effective communication with families.
