Job summary

Greater Midland is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children in our GSRP Preschool program on assigned routes before and after school. The role requires pre/post trip inspections, adherence to DOT regulations, and strong communication with families.

Responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with boarding, maintaining vehicle readiness, and accommodating occasional field trips. A Chauffeur’s license, clean driving record, and CPR/First Aid are required, with reliable

Qualifications

Minimum 21 years of age.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and provide a copy of a clean driving record.
Must maintain a Chauffer’s License.
Must pass background check.
Knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook).
CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections (brakes, tires, lights, doors).
Operate bus on designated routes and maintain schedules.
Supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in Driver’s care at all times.
Assist children with boarding, exiting, and mobility devices.
Ensure all passengers are properly seated and secured according to safety requirements.
Follow all traffic laws, safety rules, and DOT regulations.
Maintain good communication with children and parents/guardians.
