Job summary

Total Care ABA in Arundel, Maine, is hiring Education Technician III / School-Based Behavioral Health Professional to support preschoolers (ages 3–5) in an ABA-based setting. You will work with teachers and BCBA clinicians to implement plans and track progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR 90 college credits required.
• 90 credits required to qualify for Ed Tech III certification.
• Ability to obtain Educational Technician authorization through the Maine Department of Education.
• Willingness to complete BHP and/or RBT training (provided by employer).
• Successful completion of criminal background check, fingerprinting, and reference checks.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social services, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with young children or individuals with developmental disabilities a plus.
• Prior Education Technician, BHP, or ABA experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to preschool students ages 3–5.
• Implement educational and behavioral plans developed by teachers and clinicians.
• Reinforce classroom learning and skill development activities.
• Assist with daily classroom routines, organization, and preparation.
• Model positive behaviors, communication, and social interactions.
• Collect observational data to support student progress tracking.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
