Job summary

MaineHealth Behavioral Health is seeking an Educational Technician III for autism preschool programs in Maine. Under the supervisor of the Special Education Teacher and Director, you will deliver instruction and behavioral support to help students reach communication, play, socialization and self-care goals.

The role requires DOE certification (or within 90 days) and at least 90 approved credits, with fingerprinting and eligibility for a Maine DOE credential.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of 90 credits of approved study required.
• Certification as Education Technician III from Maine DOE required within 90 days of start date.
• Two years of experience in special education or related field preferred.
• DOE fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and behavioral support to autism preschool students.
• Support achievement of communication, play, socialization, self-care, cognitive, behavior and motor goals under supervision.
