Lutheran Services Florida seeks a Behavior Support Specialist to manage behavior support plans for preschoolers, coach staff and parents, and link families to mental health services. The role includes case management, training, and collaboration with contracted mental health professionals to improve child and family outcomes.

Under supervision of the Mental Health Manager, you will participate in quality assurance and attend required meetings, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant confidentiality

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, mental health, marriage and family counseling, human services or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide parents support to access resources and conduct in-home follow-up and training.
• Assist with behavior plans and monitor child progress.
• Coach teachers in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) with fidelity.
• Conduct classroom observations and analyze data to improve outcomes.
• Perform crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and program policies.
