Job summary

Trailblazers Preschool seeks a Preschool Associate Teacher to support the lead teacher in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum for our young learners. You will assist with daily lesson plans, create a safe, inclusive classroom, and observe and report on child progress to parents and lead teachers.

Collaboration with staff is essential to ensure smooth classroom operations while fostering a nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive.

Qualifications

• A CDA certificate or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Previous experience with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing daily lesson plans.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents and lead teachers.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operation of the classroom and school.
