Job summary

Georgetown Hill Early School is seeking Assistant Teachers for Twos & Threes at our Hood College/Frederick site. You will support the Lead Teacher, help create a safe, loving classroom, and float between rooms to adapt to daily needs. This role is ideal for growing toward leading your own classroom.

Qualifications

• MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum).
• Preschool experience of 1–3 years.
• A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
• Good communication skills and a calm, friendly presence.
• Reliability and punctuality you take seriously.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in bringing the P.L.A.N. curriculum to life.
• Help build a safe, nurturing space where kids feel secure and loved.
• Float between classrooms as needed to assist our thriving school.
• Support each child’s day-to-day needs with patience and care.
• Bring positive energy to your team, students, and families.

Education
