Children's House of Los Altos is seeking an energetic preschool teacher to join our Twos teaching team. You will work in the Twos classroom throughout the school year, assess students, and plan activities to meet group and individual needs.

You will inspire a love of learning, connect with children, support families, and collaborate with colleagues to create engaging, safe classroom environments that nurture social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Teaching a comprehensive curriculum
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
