Job summary

Seagull Schools Inc in Ewa Beach, HI seeks an Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing classroom for young children. You will help plan and deliver activities, maintain order, and address emotional and developmental needs under supervision.

Qualifications

• Meet Hawaii DHS qualification standards for Assistant Teacher.
• CPR/First Aid certification and licensing clearances.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and meet medical clearance.
• Two years preschool experience and 9 ECE units.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain classroom order and safety for children.
• Support mealtime and nap-time routines.
• Document student progress and behavior progress with the lead teacher.
• Communicate with parents to support learning objectives.
