Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to support classroom activities, promote safety, and foster development of preschoolers under Head Start guidelines.

Under direct supervision, you will assist the lead teacher with daily lessons, behavior guidance, attendance, and documentation, while maintaining a warm, inclusive classroom and strong family engagement.

Formación

• 1–3 years’ experience in daycare or preschool preferred.
• Associate degree in ECE or CDA; working toward degree preferred.
• First Aid, CPR, and medical clearance required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage diverse populations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the lead teacher with daily activities and classroom management.
• Plan and maintain a safe, clean learning environment following the Creative Curriculum.
• Maintain attendance records and assist with screenings/assessments and documentation.
• Support family engagement and communication with parents and staff.
