Job summary

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, seeks an Early Learning/Head Start classroom professional to supervise and engage preschool children across five Cuyahoga County locations.

You will implement curriculum, document progress, conduct health checks, collaborate with the Teacher Assistant and Family Advocate, and ensure compliance with SUTQ, Universal Pre-K, and Head Start standards.

Starting range: $22.88–$27.03 per hour; full benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field as required.
• 1–3 years of daycare/preschool classroom experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal daycare licensing regulations.
• First Aid, CPR, and Child Abuse certifications, or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times and engage in play and activities.
• Maintain education records and documentation in databases.
• Follow Head Start policies and procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with Teacher Assistant and Family Advocate on lesson plans and family engagement.
• Conduct health checks and monitor child development and safety.
