Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland is seeking a caring Early Childhood Professional to nurture infants and toddlers in a Head Start setting. You will deliver high-quality experiences using Creative Curriculum and support families with strong teamwork.

Tuition assistance is available for staff pursuing an Early Childhood degree. The role emphasizes compliance with federal and state standards and requires dedication to transforming lives through child-centered education.

Formación

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education required.
• 1–3 years of preschool experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of state and federal child care laws.
• First Aid, CPR and Child Abuse training or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage with diverse communities.

Responsabilidades

• Create and deliver high-quality educational experiences using Creative Curriculum for ages 6 weeks to 3 years, while ensuring the wellbeing of children.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, Step Up To Quality, Head Start standards and funder requirements.
• Provide active supervision and maintain child/staff ratios.
• Maintain timely attendance records and daily routines.
• Utilize technology (Hatch, Tadpoles, Gold, etc.) to improve outcomes and classroom management.
• Lead screenings and assessments and document in TS Gold.
• Lead and implement intervention plans and align lesson plans with Ohio standards/ELOF.
• Coordinate home visits and parent conferences; collaborate with staff and volunteers.
• Maintain master files and required paperwork; ensure CLASS, ECERS, and related assessments are completed.
