Qualifications

• Meet local childcare regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience in licensed early childhood programs preferred.
• Knowledge of young children’s social, emotional, and creative needs.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for child handling and safety.
• ECT/Lead Teacher Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Assess children’s developmental needs and implement approved lesson plans.
• Build genuine relationships with children and help them explore language, literacy, science, and life skills.
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that inspires confidence and decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to all regulations and standards for health, safety, and care.
• Assist with classroom maintenance and other tasks as needed.
