Wonderspring is seeking an Assistant Teacher Float at our Star 4 Pottstown center. In this role, you will assist in delivering lessons inspired by the Creative Curriculum and PA Early Learning Standards, fostering an environment that supports each child's unique journey.

What You’ll Do (and Have Fun Doing!)

1. Assist in classrooms to ensure smooth operations.
2. Collaborate with Lead or Assistant Teachers on curriculum-based activities, including crafts and circle time.
3. Monitor children's well-being and comfort, encouraging positive behaviors.
4. Maintain a cheerful attitude with children, parents, and colleagues.
5. Guide children towards positive behavior using techniques like FLIP IT and Second Step.
6. Observe and document each child's progress, sharing successes with parents.

Your Skills & Qualities

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA preferred.
• Minimum two years' experience in early childcare (2,500 verified hours).
• Strong communication skills for engaging with families.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Knowledge of DHS licensing, Keystone Stars, and accreditation standards.
• Experience managing a multicultural classroom environment.
