In this role, you will help deliver lessons inspired by the Creative Curriculum and PA Early Learning Standards, fostering an environment that supports each child's unique journey.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum-based lesson plans, including crafts and circle time activities.
2. Monitor children's well-being and comfort, encouraging positive behaviors and exploration.
3. Maintain a cheerful attitude with children, parents, and colleagues.
4. Guide children toward positive behavior choices using techniques like FLIP IT and Second Step.
5. Observe, document, and celebrate each child's progress, sharing updates with parents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA preferred.
• At least two years' experience in early childcare education (2,500 verified hours).
• Strong communication skills for engaging with parents/guardians.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding center, staff, and family matters.
• Knowledge of DHS licensing, Keystone Stars, and accreditation standards.
• Proficiency in managing a multicultural classroom environment.
