Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. Summary

As a Preschool Assistant Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, you will help create, manage, and participate in various learning environments and activities that promote students’ development and achievement of their learning objectives. You will collaborate professionally with other teachers and staff to support the well-being of the school community.

Hours

8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm (Monday through Friday)

Student Age Range

Two or Three years old (multiple openings)

Responsibilities

• Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive learning environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

• Relationship Building: Collaborate with a diverse team, develop relationships with families, students, and the community.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and 25-50 pounds occasionally.
• Valid credentials and compliance with company and state standards.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with children.
• At least one of the following:
  • High School Diploma or GED + 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education or related fields.
  • High School Diploma or GED + 15 relevant credits (or CDA) + 1 year of experience with children.
  • High School Diploma or GED + 2 years of experience with children.
