Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc in Hayward is seeking a Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support the Little Miracles program for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language needs. You will help create a fun classroom environment and integrate educational activities to aid development, working closely with a team of caring staff.

This role runs Monday through Friday, 20–22 hours per week, with a pay rate of $20.00–$25.00 per hour. CPR is required; 6 ECE units are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 0-5.
• CPR certification required.
• 6 ECE units preferred or in progress.
• Comfort with diaper changing and helping staff with cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the Little Miracles program in Hayward.
• Support developmentally appropriate learning activities.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for children.

Education
