You will assist with daily activities, supervision, routines, and learning experiences while upholding Catholic values and the school’s mission. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a warm, patient and dependable demeanor, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities, lessons and centers.
• Supervise and ensure safety and well-being of preschool students.
• Support routines including toileting, handwashing, meals, rest and transitions.
• Create a warm, nurturing and welcoming classroom environment.
• Encourage social, emotional and behavioral development.
• Assist with arts, music, stories, prayer and other activities.
• Model kindness, compassion, patience and respect in line with Catholic values.
• Prepare, organize and clean classroom materials and learning areas.
• Communicate professionally with families and school staff.
