Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDA or associate’s degree preferred.
• Computer skills in Word, spreadsheets, and data entry.
• Prior experience in early childhood education or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing behavior and procedures conducive to learning.
• Assist in planning and directing learning activities.
• Assist in working with small groups to meet educational needs.
• Assist in meeting the physical needs of students and personal care tasks.
• Support instructional setup and material preparation.
• Participate in in-service training to upgrade skills.
• Support teachers in meeting academic needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and students to meet needs.
• Ensure proper supervision and maintain classroom ratios.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
