In this role, you will:
  1. Provide pre-sales support for Amelia, a conversational AI platform designed for enterprise use.
  2. Support one (or more) Sales Executives as a technical resource during the pre-sales process.
  3. Map customers’ business and technical challenges to Amelia’s capabilities and design a solution to meet customer requirements.
  4. Understand technical requirements for the proposed solution (i.e., availability, operational loads, key related client systems, and deployment strategy).
  5. Understand client’s current technology landscape and ongoing projects that might affect project execution or strategy.
  6. Design architectural blueprint for client installation, outlining Amelia’s fit into the client landscape, hardware sizing, deployment model, and security integration strategy.
  7. Develop design documents outlining configuration of Amelia for specific use cases.
  8. Prepare and deliver Amelia demonstrations.
  9. Analyze customer data to support sales and ROI calculations.
  10. Coordinate with extended teams to build solutions and proposals that are deliverable and profitable.
  11. Become the resident expert on Amelia’s capabilities (intent recognition, STT/TTS integrations, API capabilities, workflow development, training).
  12. Act as a customer advocate with Amelia product and engineering teams, providing feedback for product improvements.
  13. Serve as a technical resource for partner solution architects and delivery teams.
We would love to hear from you if:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a background in technologies impacting operational processes.
  • You have 7+ years of experience as a sales engineer or solution architect in software or services organizations.
  • You understand API integrations of external applications.
  • You have knowledge of telephony infrastructure.
  • You understand data center and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • You have experience with Large Language Models and Generative AI.
  • You have basic Linux administration skills.
  • You have experience with SaaS software sales.
  • You have enterprise sales experience.
  • Experience in Contact Center Sales is a plus.
  • Experience in ITSM software sales is desirable.

This position is available for remote work across most of the United States. (**Note: SoundHound AI does not offer employment in Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming). Employees within a 60-mile radius of an office are expected to work from the office three days a month to promote collaboration.

The estimated salary range is $120,000–$170,000, plus equity, healthcare, paid time off, and other benefits. The specific salary will be provided based on location and experience.
