Job summary

Precisely is seeking a senior presales engineer to support the AMER region. You will provide technical overviews and product demos, architect solutions, and perform POCs on customer systems to demonstrate value.

The role requires 5+ years in technical presales, strong IBM Mainframe (Z/OS) experience, and excellent communication. Travel ~20% is expected; remote work is supported across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical presales experience.
• 5+ years experience with IBM Mainframe (Z/OS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort presenting to varied audiences including C-level.
• Willingness to travel 20%+ and work from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide presales support to the AMER sales team for Syncsort/DTS.
• Deliver technical presentations to qualified prospects.
• Demonstrate customized product demonstrations.
• Conduct Proofs of Concept (POC) on customer systems.
• Perform savings analyses with ZPSaver and quantify value.
• Assist channel partners and enable their sales efforts.
• Coordinate with Product Management for product direction.
• Analyze customer problems and map Precisely solutions to needs.
• Stay current on competitive differentiators and participate in partner meetings.
