Job summary

Jobtailor in New York seeks a presales consultant to guide customers through design, engineering, and value realization of AI solutions. You will translate business needs into scalable architectures and scope Generative AI initiatives, delivering tailored demos and PoVs.

You'll partner with sales, act as trusted advisor, extend the platform with Python components, design BI dashboards, and help customers adopt AI responsibly across financial services and insurance contexts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales.
• Ability to translate complex solutions for technical and business audiences.
• Strong background in software development and consulting.
• Experience with Python, APIs and cloud architectures preferred.
• Experience with Linux, scripting and system integration.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs or intelligent agent frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data, NLP and unstructured information systems.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is a bonus.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch or vector databases is a bonus.
• Passion for helping enterprises scale AI responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers throughout solution design, implementation, and support.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Scope Generative AI and Agentic solutions.
• Plan and deliver tailored product demonstrations and Proof of Value engagements.
• Partner with sales to identify opportunities, shape proposals, and align customer needs with product capabilities.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and extend the platform with Python-based components, including orchestrators, RAG pipelines, and prompt-engineering frameworks.
• Design and adapt Frontend BI dashboards and Agentic UIs to visualize AI-driven insights.
• Communicate customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Contribute to AI solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and consultative documentation.
• Advise customers on Generative AI, agent frameworks, orchestration technologies, adoption strategies, risks, and opportunities.
