Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled software engineer to build and operate agent harness capabilities for enterprise use. You will integrate agents with tools and APIs, ensure reliability under load, and advance test automation while meeting security and observability requirements.

Collaborate with architects and product teams to design solutions, own assets end-to-end, and document work for reuse. Strong Python/TypeScript skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in production.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Exposure to TypeScript for AI integration work.
• Hands-on experience building generative AI or agentic applications.
• Experience with agentic coding tools.
• Familiarity with orchestration loops, context/memory management, and guardrails.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with AWS AgentCore or similar agentic runtimes and harness platforms.
• Experience with Strands Agents, LangGraph, or similar open-source frameworks.
• Terraform/CDK/Helm for cloud infra provisioning.
• Observability tooling and distributed tracing in production.
• 2 additional years of software engineering experience.

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, including code shipped and supported in production
• Proficiency in Python

• Hands-on experience building generative AI or agentic applications
• Experience using agentic coding tools
• Familiarity with orchestration loops, tool interfaces, context and memory management, and guardrails
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• SME-level depth in at least one technical discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication
