Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group is seeking a Prepress Technician to prepare files for Flexographic and Digital printing. You will trap, step, distortion, and preflight customer files while coordinating with management, prepress, production, and customer service teams.

The role requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. On-site in Wisconsin with comprehensive benefits and tuition support.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign).
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) experience preferred.
• Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Client-focused communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer files for Flexographic and Digital printing, including trapping, stepping, and distortion.
• Perform preflight on customer files.
• Maintain clear communication with Management, Prepress, Production, and Customer Service teams.
• Proofread all content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
• Perform barcode verification to maintain quality standards.
• Order and manage storage of Flexographic plates.
