Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group, LLC, a premier flexographic and digital printing company in North America, seeks a Pre-press Technician in Butler, WI to prepare files for printing, perform preflight, verify barcodes, and collaborate with management, prepress, production, and customer service to ensure print quality.

Applicants should have an associate degree or related experience, plus proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems proactively, and deliver within deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer files for Flexographic and Digital printing, including trapping, stepping, and distortion.
• Preflighting on customer files.
• Maintain clear communication with Management, Prepress, Production, and Customer Service teams.
• Proofread all content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
• Perform barcode verification to maintain quality standards.
• Ordering and managing storage of Flexographic Plates.
