Job summary

Marketing.com in Wisconsin is seeking a Press Operator to run digital and litho presses, maintain production and quality standards, and prepare customer files for printing. You will generate proofs, manage PDFs, and ensure accurate output in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires proficiency with Mac-based tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and RIP workflows, attention to detail, and collaboration with Account Managers and Bindery teams to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with other department personnel on a job‑to‑job basis.
• Prior experience in Mac-based applications (Adobe InDesign, PDF, Photoshop, etc.).
• Prior experience with Postscript RIP technology (Rampage, XMF). Prior experience in a CTP environment.
• Excellent Math skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble page layouts for press-sheet configurations per customer specifications using a Mac-based workflow.
• Create contract project proofs using wide-format proofing devices.
• Proficiently configure press-sheet layouts using XMF RIP hardware.
• Proficiently utilize a PDF workflow.
• Manually output litho plates using CTP technology and verify outputs.
• Work closely with Account Managers, Pressroom personnel and Bindery Team Leaders to meet expectations.
• Perform routine maintenance on CTP Plate Processor and general housekeeping.
