Atlas Print Solutions Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Prepress Specialist based in Freeport, NY. You will prepare files submitted by designers and clients for output on multiple large-format printers, ensuring color accuracy and compliance with technical specs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in pre-press, proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with RIP management. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in pre-press or large-format print production.
• Strong knowledge of design, layout, image, and color editing software (Adobe suite).
• Ability to troubleshoot file issues (missing fonts, color discrepancies, resolution).
• Attention to detail to ensure files meet specifications before print.

Responsibilities

• Review and preflight files submitted by designers/clients to ensure fonts, colors, resolution, and sizing are correct.
• Format, color-correct, and manipulate files per client specs for large-format printers.
• Set up files for various printing formats including enlargements and composition.
• Rip files using Onyx software and manage print media for accurate output.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve missing or problematic components.
