Sir Speedy in Austin, TX is seeking a Prepress & Production Specialist to prepare customer files for print, support large-format production, and assist with print estimates. This hands-on role requires organization, technical skill, and a collaborative mindset.

Ideal candidates have prepress and print production experience and strong Adobe Creative Suite proficiency. You will work Monday–Friday in a on-site setting, with opportunities for training and growth within a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Preflight and prepare customer files for digital and large-format printing.
• Review artwork for resolution, bleed, color accuracy, and print readiness.
• Make necessary file corrections in Adobe Creative Suite to add bleeds and impose files for printing.
• Set up and rip files for digital presses and wide-format printers.
• Operate large-format printers, cutters, laminators, and related finishing equipment (training provided).
• Assist with trimming, mounting, laminating, and finishing signage and graphics.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent output.
• Help maintain equipment and production workspaces.
• Assist in preparing print estimates using our MIS/job ticket system.
• Review materials, production steps, and timelines for incoming jobs.
• Coordinate with sales and production teams to ensure job accuracy.
• Maintain organized digital files and job records.
• Support bindery and finishing tasks as needed.
• Assist with customer service interactions when necessary

Key Responsibilities

Prepress (Primary Duties)

• Preflight and prepare customer files for digital and large-format printing

Large-Format & Production Support
