Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with digital and litho press files is ideal.
• Proficient with Mac and PC graphic design software.
• Understanding of PDF, TIFF, EPS formats across platforms.
• Basic color management and understanding of offset printing effects.

Responsibilities

• Review client files for completeness before plate making.
• Use desktop publishing software to fit print jobs to paper dimensions.
• Determine page layout considering folds, trims, bleeds and color bars; add crop marks.
• Identify missing or problematic components and communicate with Customer Service and production.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, customers, and production to resolve issues.
