Job summary

The Gill Corporation in El Monte, CA is seeking a Prepreg Operator Trainee to set up and operate the work center, prepare equipment, and perform material testing. The role is on 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm) with overtime and weekends. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, good English reading/verbal skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalency.
• Must have English reading and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to demonstrate math proficiency equal to or greater than required for the position.
• Must be available to work the shift specified with potential overtime on weekends/ holidays.
• ITAR/EAR compliance may be required.

• Test and record data needed to run product.
• Run material and monitor quality data.
• Identify material with identification tags and maintain clean work area.
• Adhere to safety procedures and be available for overtime as needed.
