Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Tallahassee is seeking a friendly Team Member to support the Prepared Foods team with prep, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products. You will help maintain a clean, inviting department and provide courteous service to customers and Team Members.

This role involves on-floor engagement, following SOPs, and assisting with inventory, price accuracy, and shifts as needed. A passion for natural foods and teamwork helps you succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
