Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member for our Prepared Foods department in Kansas. You will assist with preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking while delivering friendly, courteous, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.

Following store SOPs, you will engage on the floor, help organize displays, manage dates and freshness, and support sign accuracy and price checks.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cooks, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
