Whole Foods Market is seeking a front-line team member responsible for purchasing, replenishing and merchandising prepared foods. You will monitor inventory, assist in promotional displays and maintain OTS standards while upholding health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include handling open PO reports, cost controls, customer service and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule and adherence to SOPs are expected.

Competenze

• Extensive product knowledge across production, distribution, seasonal availability and trends.
• Ability to create and negotiate price bids.
• Familiarity with products and nutrition information; willingness to learn.

Mansioni

• Purchases and replenishes food for preparation using proper buying procedures.
• Monitors open PO reports for purchases and credits accurately.
• Controls spoilage and shrink; achieves turn goals and participates in inventory.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with counter service and cooks as scheduled or as necessary.
• Communicates with Kitchen Manager/Chef and Team Leader on ordering needs and issues.
• Maintains positive vendor relationships and cost recipes with Team Leader.
• Oversees customer special order procedure and supports leadership in inventories.
