Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is hiring for a position in our Prepared Foods team. The role involves purchasing, replenishment, merchandising, and ensuring top customer service in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate will monitor inventory, assist with displays, and support price accuracy while adhering to health/safety standards and company SOPs. 1+ years of buying/merchandising experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in buying/merchandising preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and sustain accuracy.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Purchases and replenishes food for preparation using proper procedures.
• Monitor open PO reports for purchases and credits accurately.
• Control spoilage and shrink; help reach turn goals and participate in inventory.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assist with counter service and cooks as scheduled or needed.
• Communicate ordering needs and issues with Kitchen Manager/Chef and Team Leader.
• Maintain positive relations with vendors and cost recipes with Team Leader.
• Oversee customer special order procedures and inventories.
• Support leadership to ensure purchasing and sales targets are met.
• Report safety hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
