Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking team members to perform prep, counter service, sanitation, and stocking duties across Prepared Foods and related areas. You will deliver friendly service, maintain cleanliness, follow health and safety rules, and support on-floor operations, including opening/closing duties and price accuracy.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and ability to work in a team.

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, covering, and rotation of products.
• Maintain product quality per WFM guidelines.
• Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Follow recipes exactly using correct measuring devices.
• Explain differences between WFM products and conventional stores to customers.
• Keep walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrive on time, properly groomed and ready to work; complete shifts and trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service; use suggestive selling; answer phones promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures on weights & measures, health, sanitation, and safety.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work and shopping environment; keep equipment in good condition.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Immediately report safety hazards and violations.
