Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members to perform duties across preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. You will support store programs, ensure safety standards, and engage with customers to highlight the differences between WFM products and conventional options.

Expect to work in a fast-paced environment, with physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing long hours. Training and team support are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Helps customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
