Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is seeking entry-level Team Members in Dallas to assist with Prepared Foods, ensure proper labeling and rotation, and maintain quality standards. You will help customers, follow recipes, and rotate stock while upholding health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Thorough product knowledge.
• Ability to prepare recipes per batch size.
• Communicate market information to customers.
• Understand spoilage and waste impact on profits.
• Follow merchandising expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist production for Prepared Foods venues.
• Label, date, cover, and rotate prepared foods.
• Ensure product meets quality and preparation guidelines.
• Document waste and spoilage.
• Follow recipes using correct measuring devices.
• Explain differences between WFM products and conventional stores.
• Keep walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrive on time and attend trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Adhere to weights & measures, health and sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe working/shopping environments.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; check signs and pricing.
• Report safety hazards and violations promptly.
