Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Colleyville, TX is seeking a Team Member to assist with Prepared Foods production, labeling, and customer service. You will maintain sanitation, stock, and merchandising while engaging with customers and team members.

Role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing 6–8 hours, and flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Training and safety standards are emphasized to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to make an adequate number of recipes per shift based on batch size.
• Capable of accessing information about market conditions and communicating it to customers.
• Understanding of spoilage and supply waste and how it affects department profits.
• Working knowledge and application of all merchandising expectations within the department.

• Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensure product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensure product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Help customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Keep walk-ins and freezers clean and well-organized.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and ready to work; participate in trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service, address needs promptly, and model suggestive selling.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
