Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Cambridge, MA, is seeking team members to assist with all Prepared Foods functions, maintain product quality, proper labeling, and rotation while delivering excellent customer service on a fast-paced floor.

Responsibilities include keeping walk-ins and freezers organized, following procedures, and supporting store programs. Must be flexible for nights and weekends; wage range noted in posting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Preps, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Provides courteous, friendly service and helps customers understand WFM products.
• Reports safety hazards and follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Follows opening, mid, and closing duties and verifies pricing accuracy.
