Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member in Akron to support Prepared Foods with production, labeling, rotation, and merchandising. You will help customers distinguish WFM products from conventional stores and maintain clean, organized work areas.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to ensure excellent service and product quality.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of our natural foods product line is a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures and recipes accurately.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, covered, rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
