Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members to support Prepared Foods with on‑the‑floor duties, stocking, and customer service. You will help with production, labeling, rotation, and merchandising while upholding health, safety, and quality standards.

Candidates should be able to work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborate with team members, and help educate customers about products and differences from conventional stores.

Qualifications

• Thorough product knowledge and understanding of department operations.
• Ability to plan and prepare multiple recipes per shift.
• Awareness of market conditions and impact on department profits.
• Understanding of spoilage, waste, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures proper labeling, dating, and rotation of products.
• Maintains quality, cleanliness, and safety per WFM standards.
• Documents waste using proper forms and reports.
• Keeps walk‑ins and freezers organized and clean.
• Provides excellent customer service and engages with shoppers.
• Follows procedures for pricing accuracy and display presentation.
• Reports safety hazards and line issues promptly.
