The role emphasizes supervision of staff across deli, cheese, and Beer & Wine teams, pricing accuracy, safety compliance, and vendor relations. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli, restaurant, catering or food service.
• Experience serving the public.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work a flexible schedule.
• Computer experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of natural foods.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly and courteously while ensuring accurate labeling and pricing.
• Assist with scheduling, training and evaluating department staff per union agreement.
• Oversee purchasing and inventory; manage pricing in inventory system.
• Program and maintain scales; troubleshoot equipment and report needs.
