Job summary

Whole Foods Market Dallas is seeking a Team Leader for the Prepared Foods department to supervise and develop Team Members, ensuring high standards of retail execution and outstanding customer service. You will work with trainers to train staff, manage stock displays, and support department Opens/Closes per procedures.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, evaluating performance, and maintaining product knowledge while adhering to safety policies.

• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Trains Team Members with trainer support to build a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures all breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to leadership.
• Sets and achieves high retail execution standards.
• Fosters a positive environment and teamwork.
• Monitors customer flows and directs Team Members to meet customer needs.
• Mentors and counsels Team Members to sustain high performance.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Models company vision and goals.
