Whole Foods Market in Los Gatos, CA seeks an eager Prepared Foods Team member to assist with scheduling and supervision of Team Members and to maintain compelling displays. You will support the Team Leader to ensure smooth Prepared Foods operations and uphold health and safety standards.

The role requires 12+ months of retail experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly wages offered with Whole Benefits.

Formación

• Extensive knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team-building, and customer relationship skills.

• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
• Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Train Team Members with a focus on high performance and low turnover.
• Assist in training new Team Members using checklists and training materials.
• Keep cases and shelves clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Open and close department following procedures.
• Ensure breaks are provided according to schedule.
• Communicate team concerns to Team Leader/Associate Team Leader.
• Set and uphold high standards of retail execution.
• Foster a positive environment with teamwork and morale.
• Anticipate customer needs and direct Team Members accordingly to delight customers.
• Recruit and mentor Team Members to maintain a high-performance team.
• Provide timely and thorough performance evaluations.
• Model the WFM vision and goals in daily work.
