You will plan cross-merchandising with deli offerings, attend meetings, assist with special orders, track waste, and keep the department clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long hours and work in close quarters.
• Must be able to work early shifts starting around 4 am and ending after 10 pm.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude.
• Good communication with customers and team members.
• Reliable and punctual with time clock.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Mix and bake a varied assortment of pastries and cakes as directed.
• Plan and maintain Grab-and-Go dessert sections.
• Cross-merchandise with deli offerings.
• Visit other stores for price and display comparisons.
• Provide product information to customers and staff.
• Assist with special orders and deliver prompt customer service.
• Record waste using shrink sheets.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the department.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Attend team and store meetings.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Read and respond to daily deli communications.
