Job summary

Whole Foods Market Nashville is seeking team members to support preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking in our Prepared Foods areas. You will help customers discover products, rotate stock, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following all health guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting with production, labeling, dating, and rotating items; ensuring quality and adherence to recipes; and maintaining accurate pricing and signage.

Qualifications

• Thorough product knowledge and ability to follow recipes per batch size.
• Strong communication and teamwork to serve customers and support Team Members.
• Ability to manage time, maintain cleanliness, and follow health/sanitation rules.
• Knowledge of Weights & Measures and safe work practices in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to engage customers and explain product differences between WFM and conventional stores.
• Understanding spoilage, waste, and department profit considerations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Label, date, initial, cover, and rotate products.
• Ensure products meet WFM quality and preparation guidelines.
• Document waste and spoilage using standard forms.
• Follow recipes and use correct measuring devices.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
• Keep walk-ins and freezers clean and organized.
• Arrive on time, be well groomed, and participate in trainings.
