Liberty Tax is seeking a Tax Preparer in Bakersfield, CA to accurately prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will gather information, ensure compliance, and explain results clearly, supporting clients through the tax process and staying current on regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Experience using tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Must have PTIN.
• Must have CTEC registration.
• Prior experience in tax preparation preferred.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours:

• Seasonal, part-time during tax season (January-April)
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Typical hours: Monday-Saturday, 9 AM-9 PM
