Job summary

Liberty Tax is seeking a Tax Preparer to accurately prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses while delivering exceptional customer service. You will interview clients, ensure compliance with tax laws, and maintain secure records during the busy tax season, working evenings and weekends as needed.

Seasonal, full-time position during January–April with typical hours Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–8 PM; compensation includes benefits and opportunities for growth within Liberty Tax.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Experience using tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Must have PTIN (or be eligible to obtain one).
• Prior experience in tax preparation preferred.
