Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: General duties include proper packaging per case, ensuring that all boxes are taped and labeled as going to the conveyor belt. Filling of the hopper with product making sure that the screens are in place. All employes are to watch the lines for jam ups on the line to prevent waste of product. All employees are responsible for keeping the areas clean, also that at the end of shift everything is clean up and trash is being taken out. All employees are required to be in full uniform to include bouffant cap, beard cover (as applicable), and gloves. Hearing protection is recommended.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Employees will rotate responsibilities on a scheduled basis in the interest of creating an ergonomically friendly work environment.

COMPETENCIES: Specific duties include preparing cases for filling and ensuring that an accurate number of pre-packs are included in each case and that those packs are lined within the case, properly, to ensure the box will seal correctly. Cases, upon being filled, are processed through the case sealer and then off borne to the lift/conveyor. Responsibilities also include filling the hopper with product.
