Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a PrEP Navigator II for the Biomedical Program Infectious Diseases. The role provides HIV/STI health education, counseling, testing, and navigates clients to PrEP/PEP services while coordinating referrals and program activities.

The position requires a high school diploma or higher, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and experience in HIV prevention or case management. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a human services field with HIV prevention or case management experience.
• Experience delivering client-centered harm-reduction counseling is highly desirable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refer clients for ACA enrollment and PrEP/PEP services.
• Navigate clients onto PrEP/PEP and schedule medical appointments.
• Assist with Medication Assistance Programs and referrals to related services.
• Coordinate referrals and participate in program recruitment and onboarding.
